UPDATED: Part of the new Rolex models update for a series of new Datejust 31 watches in both stainless steel and the brand's signature White Rolesor finish. In fact, this model is the world's first self-winding chronometer to display the date aperture, and is known for its precision and reliability. While this is now the standard, it was this model that first introduced the new calendar system, and forever set the standard for date-displaying wristwatches. Meanwhile, the fluted motif dial is offered in blue, champagne, or silver. The palm motif dial is available in either green, champagne, or silver. The vast majority of the new dials are exclusively available on the 36mm models from the Datejust range, with the most noteworthy additions being the ones that feature patterns (either a 'palm' or 'fluted' motif) laser-engraved on their surfaces. For 2021, Rolex did not introduce any entirely new Datejust references to the catalog however, the historic Swiss watch manufacturer did add a few new dial options to the collection.
